We made an appointment to put our 13 year old Golden Retriever down, they were very kind and understanding, they said we could take our time and they were very gentle. That same day we had our other dog get caught on something and tore his skin open in two spots, they were able to stitch him up and did a great job. I was just a horrible dog day for us but the Vet and staff at the Caldwell clinic made a horrible day much easier to deal with. We will use them from now on.
Worst customer service ever. When I took my mom's dog for a skin allergy I could hear them talking about how disgusting he looked and smelled and how ugly he was. Ouch... Of course! Of course he's going to look bad and smell. It was a slap in the face but I didn't say anything because I was more worried about my dog. Really, there's nothing you can do about people with an ugly attitude. Anyway... I paid most in cash that day and gave the receptionist my mom's card info just in case. Later, my mom paid the rest in cash. Her bill was paid off. BUT, for some reason the receptionist thought she could use my mom's card for my SO pending bill. What? My SO took his cat months before, we gave them a different card to charge it to, the accounts are totally different. Different owners, adresses, phone numbers, different pets. The only thing that was the same, was me. I took both pets because I'm the only one available to do so due to work hours. She recognized me and asked me if I was there before and I said yes, I even clarified to her at the time I gave my mom's card info that before I was there for my SO and at that time I was there for my mom. I HAVE NO PETS. I told her that. Either she didn't understand, or she didn't care and bundled everything up. I don't believe anyone can work as a receptionist and not understand simple things like that. That's not how it works my mom and my SO don't support each other. What was going through her mind? Idk. But I recommend the staff gets their priorities straight. Focus, pay attention, listen, be more respectful, you are the caretaker of somones pet. Don't talk down to them when they are at their worst. I never complain about anything but damn, they are so disorderly and mean here. I'm not keeping quiet about this one.
They are great!!!
